I offer small group classes (up to 6 people) in my beautiful studio space located on 8 Boston Street, Suite 9 in the Upper Queen Anne neighborhood. This intimate group size allows for a unique and curated experience with more individualized attention. Pre-registration required.
I encourage both creativity and mindfulness. Acknowledging that yoga is a life-long journey, I emphasize honoring the body for where it is in this present moment. Through a mixture of both dynamic and nurturing asana, I help encourage a gradual opening of the body and quieting of the mind by honoring and expanding the breath.
The type of Breathwork that I offer is a contemporary form of active, conscious, and connected breathing that can help regulate and calm the nervous system, move stuck energy, ignite creativity, and connect to non-ordinary states of consciousness. Our breath is the only piece of our Autonomic Nervous System that we can consciously change and influence. Therefore, it can be a powerful tool in regulating our systems. I will hold the space for you to explore your breath with gentle guidance and support.
This form of Breathwork is not recommended for people who are pregnant, experience high blood pressure, have glaucoma, or those with bipolar syndrome or schizophrenia. Please reach out to me for a deeper conversation around these contraindications.
